Do angels sleep?
Do angels eat?
We don’t really know! They have appeared to some in human form. We have an account in Genesis to know if they actually ate…Abraham had a meal prepared for the “three visitors” in Genesis 18:5; Abraham told them he would prepare them something to eat. And Genesis 18:8 relates….while they ate, Abraham stood near them under a tree….
Angels exist because God created them. Whether they eat or sleep, is no relevance to us. We do know that they “guard and protect” us. In Exodus 23, verse 20 tells us the Lord says “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared”
Angels are spoken of in many scriptures. They are referenced in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. They are spoken about in over 236 Scriptures verses .
They are His Heavenly Messengers.
Like Abraham, could we offer them food? If we had the most delectable recipe, would they join us at our dinner table?
I don’t know, I only know that my Mother, who was our “angel” in the kitchen, was a “recipe collector”. After she was taken up to Heaven in 1992, I inherited her entire collection! I am writing a CookBook entitled “Recipies Mama Couldn’t Toss Out”, and I will be sharing many of these recipes with you on this "Delectable Food For Angels” page here at AngelTouchesPublishing!
Feel free to download them and prepare them for the “angels” in your family! I know I do!
