Nearly Hit By Car

Looking out the front window of a local Street Mart, Tammy D. could not believe her eyes!
She saw the sudden movement of a northbound Mercury Sable careen over the southbound lanes, and jump the curb and was heading straight for the Street Mart window she was standing at!
She had no time to move out of the way, it happened so quickly. She prepared herself with prayer for the direct hit when, suddenly she saw the Sable crash into the Pawn Shop, directly north of the Street Mart!
How had it swerved? Why did it swerve from the direction it was heading straight into? Tammy D. could not believe her eyes as she witnessed the destruction that could have been her fate.
The impact on the immediate Pawn Shop’s connected wall of the building she was in sent tools, mortar, bricks and keyboards flying inside the store! Debris was scattered from one side of the store to the other.
About one third of the car stopped inside the shop, while the rest was outside. The hole in the brick wall of the Pawn Shop was almost exactly the outline of the car!
“That car was coming straight for me” Tammy said, “and a city police car was right behind the Sable, following in its wake.”
“It’s a true miracle of God that I didn’t get killed. It was so scary! I thought the car was going to come through the building right where I was standing!”
All Tammy’s Guardian Angel had to do that morning was tug at the steering wheel of that run-a-way Sable a few degrees and it’s directional turn took it away from harming the Angel’s Human!
However, the driver took the hit and was hurt. His passenger in the Sable fled off on foot. The City Policemen called emergency and chased after the passenger.
The Pawn Shop owner said “I’ll have a scratch and dent sale on tools tomorrow.”
And Tammy? She said “I’m so grateful to God for His mercy and to the Guardian Angel He sent who protected me!”
